MORAYFIELD SKATEPARK
Morayfield Skatepark renewal provides a ‘major’ level facility that is multi-discipline, catering to all wheeled sports and skill levels. The delivered facility is a contemporary design that meets current industry trends within skate culture while providing a community responsive design.
To make the facility safe, accessible and enjoyable for the wider community to use, refuge areas and access has been considered to ensure non-active users can spectate and safely reach the refuge/social interaction spaces.
The skate space provides provision for future community events & competitions and offers social interaction opportunities for community members of different abilities and backgrounds. The renewal of the space creates an inviting and family friendly place that celebrates the unique contextual setting in which it sits.
