Convic has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Berridge Park Precinct Redevelopment by the Shire of Denmark.

This milestone project holds special significance for Convic. Founded in South Western Australia 25 years ago, the opportunity to return and work with a community closely connected to the company’s origins is both meaningful and deeply valued.

Convic’s involvement began at the concept design stage, developed through close collaboration with the Shire, local community members, and Indigenous and environmental stakeholders. Their collective insight, stewardship, and trust have helped shape a vision that honours the cultural, environmental, and social importance of this unique coastal setting.

The redevelopment will deliver a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive recreation precinct featuring:

• Nature-based playgrounds celebrating local ecology
• Multi-use sports courts
• Climbing walls and active play zones
• A world-class skatepark anchored by an iconic overhead wave structure reflecting Denmark’s coastal identity

Convic is committed to delivering a precinct that reflects community aspirations and enhances Berridge Park for generations to come.

Detailed design work has commenced, with civil works planned to begin in mid-2026.
