GIPPS STREET RECREATION PRECINCT
The youth space forms part of a much larger recreational precinct developed within Penrith to respond to the current and future needs of youth within the fastest growing region of Greater Sydney.
Large green lawns, garden beds and a central paved boulevard define the youth and skate areas into several key zones; creating a centralised pedestrian plaza surrounded by an active recreation program. The plaza loop and two raised bowls provide a diverse and unique skate experience with wide appeal. Integrating separate skate zones, a half court, parkour space and additional youth recreation facilities within the youth space increases capacity allowing for multiple groups of users during peak times.
