It is renowned for its beautiful scenery, wildlife diversity and interesting short history – and now one of Western Australia’s newest skate parks. Hundreds turned out for the opening of the Paraburdoo Skate Park, and it’s proving to be a real asset to this community. This is another reason we love what we do.
Rio Tinto Greater Paraburdoo operations general manager Gabe Iwanow said the Paraburdoo Skate Park was having a positive impact in the community.
“Paraburdoo Skate Park really has been such a great addition to our town, involving local children throughout the design phase, and creating a well utilised place for families to get together,” she said.
“It has had a big impact in the town, with lots of children enjoying the new facility and time with each other.”
