EMPIRE SKATE PARK
Set in an iconic location overlooking surf breaks at Bar Beach, Empire Park features a bowl described as one of Australia’s best and a plaza style street section, creating one of the country’s most diverse skate facilities.
An abundance of skating elements includes stairs, hubbas, banked walls, ledges and a flat bank with rails along along with ledges, pimple and a quarter pipe in the street area. Shelter, seating and viewing spaces cater to the wider community, while upstand ledges and perimeter seating walls serve to encourage participation and restrict sand entering the space.
