Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA) acknowledges national and regional excellence in the parks and leisure industry through its prestigious annual awards. The judges awarded the Award for Playspace (Major) to the Busselton Youth Precinct Skate Park recognising that it represents a huge investment in the youth of WA and that there are few places in regional or even metropolitan Australia that can boast such a well-appointed facility and this skate park will be a significant drawcard for the City. The BYP is world class and capable of hosting event at not only a national, but at a global level.
