The official opening of Bato Yard Skate Park in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast of NSW is set for Sunday August 14th, but as you can see in this clip it is getting some good use already!

The Convic designed and built space has a mixture of transition and creative street elements including a specifically design bowl with the ability to hold international competitions at a depth of 3.6m (12ft) and 450mm (1.5ft) of vert and a mini flow bowl area which allows users to develop their skills and also increases number of users within the facility.

Additional activities in the space include parkour, basketball, connections to shared paths in wider site context and the inclusion of social spaces and refuge areas.
